Question having probs firing up my DIG servo?

just got a dig setup on my wraith (axial) and the servo doesnt do a damn thing?

Running a DX3C and a brand new hitec MG micro servo
ive set the 3rd channel on button E but nothing happens when i click the button on the Tx. The servo is connected to the AUX channel on the Rx?

is there something im supposed to innitiate on this radio?

I don't know your radio...but......I would guess you need to enable the channel, then likely set the channel EPA's to 100% so you actually move the servo. You may need to tweak the setting so you do not overdrive the servo and possibly burn it up.

I used to run a servo dig on a Futaba 3PM-x, pretty easy to set-up.

well....
after messing with this several times throughout the day, i found the 1st servo (above) was a dud.
then after getting another hitec micro mg servo and getting it going...20sec or later it explodes in my face with a cloud of white smoke.

now onto servo #3 being a standard sized SF-1 servo im having a very difficult time with endpoints, etc.
cant seem to get this damn thing right??

either the servo is humming in either direction or it isnt engaging the dig??

I also had similar problems with the dig servo on my scaler.I use a DX3R and had to call Horizon for some input. They had me switch the frame rate for the servo to 11 instead of 5.5.It worked perfectly after that.I also burned up my first servo because the travel was set way to high.I turned it down to 20% and then set the end points from there. It is critical that the end points are correct and you are not overworking the servo.Hope this helps.
