Default 10amp cc bec

ok so Ive had a few cheap servos burn out on my lately so upgraded to a hitec 7955tg but before I installed it I put a multi meter on my bec output to check the voltage. Its set to 6.2 but its saying 10.2 on my volt meter

Anyone had this happen?? The bec has been coated in liquid tape.

but was working fine after.

Any ideas??

The voltages coming out of the 4 that I have are all over the place(+-1-1.5v, but none are out that far. What I normally do is use a Multimeter along with castlelink to get the outgoing voltage where I want it. But if I had one that was out 4+V It would be on its way to Castle.

Thing is it was good when I tested it when it was new and installed. Just recently popped cheap servos and put it down to dodgy servos. Its very erratic now, Tested at different voltages at 5v it tested 6.7 then at 6v it tested 7.2 etc.

Got a new one on its way hopefully it will be here before the weekend fingers crossed. Might sent CC a email and see what they think.

I've had no luck with cc bec's. I've had them glitch, burnout and do all kinds of wierd stuff. POS if you ask me. Ditch it and buy a new one, thats what I do. At least they are cheap.

That's how All of mine are.
But I've never had 10+volts on a 6v setting.
I would send it back to castle for a new one.
