Default Castle Creations

I just bought a scx10 almost completely stock, i plan on putting 2.2 flat irons from proline with the titus wheel, bacially doing what rcnetwork or richmtb did on his scx10 bronco. i am unsure of what i should use, i have a castle sidewinder, and then a there 1406 5700 kv, and then a 1410 3800 kv motor but the shaft had been completely ripped off. would the 5700 work and if so whats a good gearing? i have it geared right now at 11/87 but it is super fast and when i barely tap the throttle the car completely jumps the rock! any sugestions?

The 1406 is really fast for a SCX10 plus its a sensorless motor so it will cog if you try to go slow with it.

I would get a 35t brushed motor which you can use with your sidewinder.

x2

If you want to go slow, brushed motor is the way.

Put your sidewinder on Castle link and change to brushed mode and run anything from 27T to 55T depends on the speed you want.

In a scx I would just go brushed. If you really want to go brushless it should be sensored and <3500kv.
