Nimh vs lipo?

I have a 7.2 nimh battery. I was wondering if this is a good battery everyone has lipo Baterys I'm new to crawling. If I did change to lipo from nimh were to I get the other battery connecter for truck and charger?

What pack connectors does it have now?

+1, what do you currently have (in case you don't know if they are LiPO capable).

Depending on your current pack connector, you may want to upgrade that as well.
What motor are you currently running? (brushed, brushless, turns or KV rating)

NiMH/NiCD are large & heavy packs.
LiPO is a lot smaller & lighter.

Comp packs are ~350mah capacity so they are easier to fit in small rigs.
Scaler, G6, fun run packs can be up to ~5000mah and run for hours in some rigs.

I have a scx10 honcho. My charger is lipo compatible just my connectors ant the same like insaid I'm new to this lol. It's just a stock scx10. I have a 7.2 nimh 5000mah battery. I wanna go to a lipo.

nimh vs. lipo? Anything other than lipo flat out suck...period! There is no comparison.
