Default super motors

I am new to the super class world, I am currently running rc4wd 45T motors on super bully axles. My question is what a better motor to run on a super rig, these motors just don't do it for me. I got them cause they were cheap and I wanted to run the rig.

There is not even a question. You must get Broods Cobalt CB20 magnet motors. They are leaps and bounds beyond anything else, even his other motors.

I was really, really frustrated with any motor that I ever ran in my super and after running these, I couldnt be happier.

Have you tried these in your 2.2 pro?

No. The downside to them is that they are heavy. If my 2.2 pro were lacking in torque I would go to them without hesitation but since a standard FB9 magnet has enough torque and is much lighter, thats where I sit.

There is a motor for each specific application/car out there. EddieO from Brood will get you there. He has taught me much about motors but even before I had a slight clue of what I wanted, his advice was always dead on.

Ok thank you. Are the holmes hobbies esc really as good as what people make them out to be? I am currently running dual Tekin Fx-R Pro and I am not real happy with them.

I love my HH esc br-xl over my Team Tekin RS esc. Out of the box the holmes Hobbies ESC was very impressive, although I am driving a wraith & scx10. I have not tried any team Brood but hear they are very good as well. I found the holmes hobbies esc to be more than expected in performance out of the box, I am thrilled.
