| Which cheap radio/receiver ?
The title says it all. I'm trying to set up a SCX10 Dingo kit for my 7yo and am looking for the highest quality cheap electronics (radio and receiver) off of ebay. So which factory setup is the best to buy off ebay? 1) HPI 2) Traxxis 3) axial 4) And I cannot leave out the $39 Flysky My only requirements are that it is obviously 2 channel and 2.4ghz. Since obviously the Dingo is an Axial product im partial toward them, but I've heard the factroy Axial radio is junk. The most I want to spend is $40-$50. Any input? I haven't used the Flysky but I would take the Axial over the other 3 personally. I like the feel of their radio over HPI and Traxxas.

Either the GT3C or the GT3B would be best for your budget.

Traxxas TQ isn't a bad radio if your on a budget either.. anyway check dollarhobbyz.com I think thats the site name.. the take apart rtr kits and part them out even brand new spektrum radios that come in rtr kits.. just search all brand types in the drop down boxes. PM me if you cant figure it out.

I would go with the GT3B. I have had mine now for a couple of years, it still works great. It can be hacked to add additional channels if needed. The Axial RTR radio is a rebranded Flysky 2 channel Radio. |

I use my gt3b on my scx10, rustler, tc4, and sakura zero s. I have never had a problem with it. I am also using a 3s 1000mah battery in mine.

you can get an hpi TF40 for around 35 bucks, cheap 3 channel remote, with a 2 position 3rd channel. axial ones are only 2 channel. but I agree with the others Gt3b for the price is probably your best investment out of all of them.
