Default holmes motor rebuild

I have an hh 27t torque master pro. I just wanted to know who and how much to check to see if it needs a rebuild. I got it used w/ a car. If it will cost more than $50 I'll just buy a lathe and do it myself.

Holmes & Br00d both do rebuilds of pretty much ANY motor. Including shipping, it's less than $50.

Since you have a Holmes motor, I would contact Holmes.

PS, since I have a couple rigs (one being a MOA) as well as my son, plus we run carpet cars, I have my own Hudy lathe and bought arm shims & brushes (from HH) to do my own rebuilds.

If you like this hobby than a comm lathe is a really good investment. If the comm looks like crap, resurface it.

Ya I think I'm going to invest in one. If you told me years ago I'd go back to brushed I would've laughed at you. But since bitten by the crawler bug it is the way to go.
