hh 7t cobalt puller and sidewinder problem?????

im trying to run my 7t cobalt puller i just purchased with a sidewinder sct esc and the motor wont run, it will start to turn then stop, if i let of the throttle and grab it again it does the same thing, starts turning then stops. what is possibly my problem?

I believe the sidewinders have a turn limit on how low you can go

damn i was thinking that might be the problem, looks like i will have to buy a brxl, sooner then later. i didnt plan to run it on the sidewinder in my rig, just needed to see if the motor worked.

Right, check the programming in the castle link it might be set to brushless

i checked on that, it didnt say anything about reprogramming for brushed, just how to hook the wires up, i need to get a usb cable so i can use my castle link i just recieved to see if i have to change the programming.

you were right it has a turn limit, i finally found it 19t in reversing mode, darn.

There is a spot in basics where you can change it, if it's set to brushless it will not work

Yeah that sounds right. I've got a 7t puller as well, I run it on a brxl. It's pretty awesome on 3s

I've run my 7t and 10t puller on regular sidewinder with 3s with zero issues minus breaking gears.

do you know how to do it? i guess it should be the same procedure as on an mmp right? i have a new mmp laying around guess i should find it and read the manual.

are you running it in the reversing mode or high power brushed mode?
