Default 2200mah enough for G6??

I am currently getting my truck together for a upcoming G6 and Im wondering if I will be switching batteries too often by running 2200mah 2s lipos.
My setup is, 7lb rig, mmp esc w/ bec, tekin 13.5, and I dont know what my gearing will be yet.
What do you guys think?

We run at the almost local endurance comps (similar to g6) and I ran 2200's with an mmp/17.5 Novak. About 45 to an hr per pack depending on section of 120 gate course. 2-3 pack changes... could be better, could be worse.

That doesn't sound too bad. I did a g6 last year and completed it with 2 5000mah Batts.
But now it's a new rig and a new setup.
Trying to go a little lighter on this one.

I try to take between 6000-7000mah in lipo's with me to be safe. 2200's in my c3/2.2 rig and 1300's in the c2/1.9 rig. Real estate is hard to come by in any crawler for sure.

1 pack change for that size sounds about right, but it takes up some space I bet.

Edit: I overlooked that you're running 2s, everything I run is on 3s which could play into it in certain situations.

I run 2650mah 3s in my G6 Honcho.
Steady walking pace nets me @1.5 +/- hr runtimes.
35t.. 80t/20t spur/pinion setup.

I carry 3 just to be safe.

Depends on your throttle finger as to how much juice your using when running.
If your on blast the whole time your gonna run out quicker than just a steady pace.

Also make shure your rigs is free of binding and everything rolls smooth.
The smoother everything turns the easier it is on the Motor/esc to help get things moving..which will nets you =more runtime

Have fun...
And G6 IS the fix!!

I think I am going to run this setup on 3s. So I will be using a 3s 30c 2600mah on it. I plan on buying atleast 4 packs this size, so I should be covered.
Thanks again for your guys input.
