Default -Axial AE-2 esc Suddenly Won't Work-

Hey guys,

I just tried to turn on my Axial Ae-2 to find that it longer works. Before this, everything worked normally. No water, no over-heating, no smoke, no drops, no crashes, no running in hot weather or cold weather or snow. It was looked after very well. Despite this, when I went to plug in a battery today, it did not make the usual chime or LED flashes, and ceased to work. Batteries work on other Rc's, so that should not be a problem.

In Australia we just had a 40+ degree heat wave, and I thought there might be some correlation, but the ESC gets to that temp anyway, and I was not running in this weather at all.

Is this a frequent problem with AE-2's? Or is it something that I can fix? Any help is appreciated! :P ( I don't have a Castle Link so programming isn't really possible)

Cheers,

I would say to check the switch also.

This seems to be a common problem. I would eliminate the switch by cutting it off, then solder the wires together.

Cut of the switch and it works again. That was the last place I expected the problem to be!

Cheers for your help guys!
