Default Wiring for a noob.......

I have read as many of the wiring threads as my head can handle for now, but still not sure what the prefered wiring method is for my truck. I have the Gelande II, Eiger ESC, single CC BEC, Savox 1270 servo, and the new Warn winch. I will also be putting in the heyOK light controller and lights at some point.

Could I get a diagram showing the best method for wiring this setup?

Thanks

...or could I get by with a single BEC and run both winch and servo with it?

It'd be a good idea to add blacks from the Savox and Winch Controller to the receiver.
Leave the reds as they are, do not extend to receiver.

One/two BECs depends on if you plan to run the same voltage to your winch and servo. If your servo can handle 7.4, and your winch can only take 6.0, then you'll be better off served by running two.

IMO anyways.

Edit: You're running 7.4 to your winch? Hrmph, Okay. I'd still run two, personally.

Both servo and winch can be run at 7.4v so a single BEC would work?
Why run black to the Rx, cause I haven't seen that diagrammed anywhere?

Thanks

With your servo in the receiver, power for the motor section of your servo comes out the red, and goes back in via the black. The signal voltage comes out the white (yellow) and goes back via the black.
You run your servo direct to the BEC, and now the power comes out the orange on the BEC, and goes back to the BEC via black. The signal voltage still comes out the white on the receiver, but how does it get back (to the receiver)?
You're relying on said voltage to go through a BEC, an ESC, and make it back to the receiver? You could try it, I guess. It'll probably work, maybe. I just made the suggestion because there's a lot of 'why doesn't my radio work' threads where adding the ground loops provided the fix. Figured two little pigtails now would be easier than digging your electronics out of your rig later.

Might not be covered too clearly in diagrams, but it is a well documented issue.

I mean, try it like you have it drawn if you want...... but do yourself a favor and do a functional check before doing any hard mounting of anything.

As far as the single BEC, I'm not familiar with how much winches draw, so I can't give a credible answer on that one, sorry.

Thanks Trubble. I have asked when that 2 wire adapter will be back in stock. It looks like the best solution.

I wish more folks would post their thoughts. I hate to dump a bunch of money on my new truck and then screw it up cause I didn't know any better.

I am not sure about the draw on the winch either. I have emailed RC4WD about that. Maybe I can get away with a single BEC.
