Hey guys, just wanted to share a tip. You know how tight these connectors hold together. To ease disconnecting and to eliminate stress on the wires, use a pair of snap ring pliers to separate the plug.

Thats funny because the only thing that I've ever handled that had EC3 connector on it was a used Flysky GT3B. The previous owner had done the 3S lipo mod and the lipo was connected to the transmitter via EC3 plug. Those sucker were so loose they were vibrating appart inside the controller! Wasn't long untill I switched to deans!

A 3s lipo to power a transmitter? Damn!! The connector was that loose? Must have been muscling the thing. I stopped using Deans about six years ago. Never liked them.

Well I'm not knocking the connector, after all, I don't know how its previous owner treated it. I just like the simplicity and ease of soldering of Deans. If it's working well for you knock yourslef out .
