The 729 is a softer brush that is gentler on the comm. Its the stock sagami brush that comes with many of the motors sold today, including most of the Holmes motors. The 729 can react funky with water, they don't like getting wet and can gum up the comm if not cared for. The 4383 is a heavy silver content race brush. They are much more abrasive on the comm but provide more power. Handle water better, but they will wear out fast if ran a lot in the water, but won't gum up the comm. Later EddieO |
