Default 1St time wiring motor question

Hey Guys, I ordered a Hobbywing 3656SD sensored brushless motor for my Wraith. It'll be run by a MMP. I should just solder the 3 wires onto the motor correct? Any reason to use connectors and if so which ones? Order doesn't matter right because I can swap at the ESC?

The only other install I did was the SCT sidewinder and it came with the 3400KV motor all prewired except power.

Yes you need to solder some motor leads onto the motor. Should either come with your ESC or your motor. If not, any LHS or online shop will have them.

Running sensored the wires MUST be wired a-a b-b c-c. I solder the mamba max pro wires directly to the motor tabs. No reason for connectors.

yep!
solder wire onto the A-B-C tabs off the motor.

i do however put 4.5mm goldplated connectors between the motor and ESC just in case i need to swap a motor from time to time without having the hassle of re-soldering later on.

Thanks guys. So I am assuming the motor will have the tabs A-B-C, labeled? For that matter, does the ESC? Hm, never looked at this so I'll have to look at the ESC and instructions when I get home. My old setup the order didn't matter and if it was reversed they just said reverse any two wires. The ESC came with connectors on the ESC side so I will be able to swap out the motor or ESC with the quick disconnect if need be .

Both the 3656sd and the MMP are labeled.
