tekin rs help plz. i need ya rcc

Searched around and looked on tekins site but couldnt find anything.

Ok so i did a radio calibration first thing. Motor runs the tires backwards. Now keep in mind im running a ddk with roc412 all i need to do is reverse the motor direction. But by now your thinking just reverse the channel and itll be good. Nope when i do that yes it turns the correct direction but reverse is super fast and fwd is slow. Like half desired outcome of reverse. I also tried switching 2 motor wires cause that sometime works but this is sensored and that didn work all i got was motor buzz.. how in the ahit do i reverse the motor direction without reversing the channel on the radio. Do i need to get a motor thats designed to run in the opposite direction? Or is there a way?

You have to have the motor wires a-a b-b c-c for sensored operation.
The ESC will have the option to reverse motor direction. Change it on the ESC programming. Not with the wires or radio.

I don't have anything tekin but I pulled the rs gen 2 manual up. If you haven't, reprogram with the radio channel 2 set to rev. Motor wires a b c to a b c.

If your running axial axles flip the gears in the casings

Program the motor direction with the hot wire threw the ESC.

Thx thats kinda what i was askin about if it could be done through hotwire.. cause everything else i tried and read didn work. Thx man.

PM'd you, but Motor Type 7 should reverse it, otherwise the other suggestions would work too, like flipping the trans or diffs.

You can't calibrate to our ESC backwards, it looks for specific signals for FWD/REV. It has to be done via HotWire or onboard programming to reverse the motor direction properly. Never ever do it with the radio.

Well i noted in the origional post im running the ddk or Dinky divore kit... meaning i dont have the luxery of just flipping the trans.

But i gotbur pn and motor type 7 isnt avail on this one. I ordered the hotwire system and it already shipped from rpp. This issue will be very very soon resolved. Thx ty.
