Default what should I use to waterproof electronics?

I have searched high and low and haven't found a direct answer. I am not asking how to waterproof, i found great info on that. what i am asking is what should be used? i have found that Harley used corrosion x in a video. i have access to anti-corrosion coating (high temperature) from a ford dealer for free, but i dont know if it would work. Is there any specific chemicals that shouldn't be used on electronics?

I recommend conformal coating and corrosionX. On servos, use waterproof grease at the output shaft, along with an o-ring under the horn.

Conformal coating (Urethane version), Black Permatex RTV, PlastiDip, liquid electrical tape have all worked for me in various applications.

From my research I read that you should avoid Acetic acid. It corrodes PCBs.
