| got a MMP question
I get the flashing yellow light on my MMP when in neutral. I looked on here and found this Neutral LED flashes when controller is NOT running in CHEAT mode. I see there is a sensor only setting Cheat Enable Timing Boost Activation Range and the question is would it hurt any thing to switch to sensor only mode, the Sensored Cable is already plugged in to Motor and ESC. Can I check the enable, Cheat Mode Box but do not check the box for the timing boost and leave the timing boost at zero degrees (default) do not check the box for the Activation Range and leave the RPM range at 3,800 to 7,700 (default) or just leave it and let the light flash away, I would but the light bugs me. so does enabling the cheat mode hurts anything Last edited by kgb424; 10-15-2014 at 11:57 PM. |

With a sensored motor running it in CHEAT or SMART is up to you! Both works and you have to find out which is better for your usage. I've tried both and can't recall what I'm using right now. (Have some issues with the sensor being physically timed at 15 degrees.) |

I was only going to enable the cheat mode to get the yellow light to stop flashing I don't want to enable the Timing Boost and Activation Range cause I don't want to smoke my new brushless motor or the MMP just want the flashing yellow light off Last edited by kgb424; 10-16-2014 at 01:03 AM. |

If it won't go off without adjusting timing, put it to 1*. That's virtually nothing but technically you'll be "cheating".

When running in SMART mode it will run sensored sometimes, and will switch to sensorLESS when appropriate. Good for low end and good on the top end too. I run smart mode on my brushless Wraith. works great. Put a piece of electrical tape over the light, if it bothers you |
