|  S3 lipo battery size dimensions
Is there a standard S3 lipo battery size? or a range in size that I can reference?

No their different in size , the more mah the bigger they get. You could go to hobby parts or cheap battery packs , they have the size listed for each battery.

Packs generally vary in size and weight by capacity and C rating. Usually a pack with the same capacity, say 5000mAh with a 25c rating will weigh less than the same capacity 60c rating. The soft packs will vary the most in size. When you get a hard case pack, they are generally designed to fit into the standard battery tray of most vehicles. |

I prefer using the smaller/lighter 3s 2200mah LiPo's as opposed to the larger 5000mah LiPo's. They usually cost a whole lot less as well. for longer run times... I'll run two of my 2200mah LiPo's in saddle pak configuration mounted on the sliders using a parallel wiring harness. The saddle pak battery mounts ballast each other... and keep the chassis's COG as low as possible. Works great for me. |
