Default Charger issues

I think i killed my Hobbyking ECO 6-10 charger. I was using storage function on 2 3s batteries in parallel. All went well I thought. They were balanced and discharged appropriately. I went to store another one and it wouldn't work. Storage mode produces a lot of heat in the charger so my guess is something desoldered. But I can't see any weak solder joints on the board.

I can still charge batteries though. The amps are being pushed but not pulled.
I don't dare use it.
Its cheap and has served me well, I've got 2.

Just looking for some nerdy input as to "why"??
