Default Yeti Steering Servo

I originally posted this in the Yeti section and got no response. So let's try here.

Had a spare Futaba 614FF for my 4PK and put it in my Yeti. I set the ESC with the 4PK transmitter and have motor power. Somehow lost most of my steering. Put the Yeti receiver back in. Set the esc with the stock transmitter and still have very little travel from the steering servo. With stock transmitter and receiver and steering turned either way, the motor is cogging. It also seems that the steering signal is affecting the throttle. Didn't happen before trying to run the 614FF. Tried the 614 receiver in my Shafty and it works fine. Using a fully charged 3S 5000 lipo in the Yeti. I plugged in a CS170 servo to the stock Yeti receiver and it seems to work, but won't know for sure until I get a servo arm. Yeti steering servo now bad? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

You can try to change other servo.

Silly Question...are your end points set correctly for that model ?

Dual rate set proper ?

Thanks for the replies. I may have found my probelm. The 4PK was set for digital servos and the Yeti servo is analog, I believe. I probably caused the problem myself. I was going to replace the Yeti servo anyway. I have a CS170 to install when I get a servo arm.

Update on the servo problem. I installed the CS170 and new horn and it is working with the stock radio system. Motor problem is gone. Tonight I will try thr 614FF and the 4PK again. I have found that the ESC does not look for reverse when programming with the Futaba system. Not sure why. Updates tonight.

You need to reverse the throttle channel with futaba when calibrating the ESC

Got the 614FF in and everything is working correctly. I really like the adjustments that can be made with the 4PK. I just wish that I would have set the receiver to run the analog Yeti servo. I am sure that is where all of the problems came from. Thanks to all for the help.
