Need some help with new motor and MMP

I just recently put a brushless Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster in my wraith along with a new mamba max pro. Being new to all this I initially had some issues that were eventually figured out and I have the truck up and running now. There is still 1 issue I haven't figured out though. When I try to move the truck slowly into reverse it will stutter or hesitate a little, then move. If I try to move in reverse quickly I could apply full throttle and it won't move anywhere, back off a second then it will move. Any ideas on what could be causing this to happen? I have a castle link to change settings but I have never used one before and I'm not really sure where to start to try and fix this.

HH Trailmaster 3100 kv, mamba max pro, 3s lipo.

Check your mmp settings and make sure its set up for crawler reverse....

does it have the sensor cable fitted ?

Any other settings that I should double check to get the best performance?

Drag brake - 30
Max forward - 100
Max reverse - 50
Punch control - 0 -disabled
Start power - low
Motor type - sensored only

not that i know of, those are where mine are at....
