Lighting Q

OK, working on finalizing details for my MZ U4 build and coming to lighting. Looking at running the following lighting:

- 1" LED bar in grill
- (2) 1.5" LED Bar in rockers for rock lights
- 5" MORE LED Bar
- 4" Gearhead KOH Style LED Bar

Will also have a winch, so that could be nice to put into this system as well, will be controlled by RC4WD Warn Wireless Controller.

Was trying to figure out how to wire all of this up. I am thinking I will buy a cheap RX and wire them all into that then use a cheap ESC to bring power from the battery to the RX. Is that the best way to do this? Will have a dedicated standalone battery for the lighting system, small 2S or 3S just when needed.

I have a little less lights on my truck but this is how I have it wired:

5 in Maddog Lightbar - Wired to the main 3s pack for the truck with a remote switch inline on the positive lead.

Headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, and control box - Speed controller plugs into the control box with a Y-cable to provide 6V of power from internal BEC to the box and LEDs

Winch with HeyOk controller - Wired the red wire from the Y-cable coming from the speed controller to the red wire on the winch controller for 6v of power from the internal BEC, black and white wires plugged into the receiver.

Receiver and servo - Powered off Castle BEC at 7.4v

I would take a picture but looking at 9 miles of wire would probably just make it more confusing.
