Default 3s on stock electronics?

Curious if anyone can answer this. I have stock electronics in my Axial Deadbolt and want to change to a 3s battery, smaller, better, etc. Am I gonna have issues with my stock electronics or should I be good to go?? I am planning to switch the ESC out but not right now.

Thanks

You can run the ae5 esc on 3s however the Servo need a bec. There are some post with more information about that on here.

I tried it a smoked the stock Servo. Then I put a bec in my son's on 3s and all was well. Tell he killed the Servo. Plus now when you get a new Servo your ready.

You can run the AE-5 on 3s with out a external bec, that esc is designed to run on 23 / 3s, it wil still send normal bec voltage to your servo. I run them all the time on small 3s packs. If you want more power out of your servo without burning it up, get a HeyOK "no brainer" bec, it's plug -n- play.

(The AE-2 was the esc that you had to run a BEC in order to run 3s)
