Default Servo winch questions

Hello
I have a Kms 180 servo winch and a heyok 3position winch controller. I have the winch controller three wire lead plugged into the RX spectrum four channel with aux1 aux2 steer throttle and bind with the red wire pulled out in the aux1 slot . I then have the two white wires plugged into spliced power from the battery. The third red black two wire lead is plugged into the servo winch. This is powered by a 3c lipo. My controller spectrum dxc4 has the E channel set to three position. Nothing seems to happen. The which won't move when I use the E channel button to either direction. I tested the servo winch by plugging it into the steering slot and when I moved the wheel the winch moved so the winch is good. Any one got any ideas why it is not working? Bad winch controller ?

I'm probably the guy to answer you.
I have a question or two though...

Is this the winch controller you have?

No Drift Winch Controller! (using 3 position transmitter channel)

Or is it this one?

4 Amp Relay Output Winch Controller

Why do you have the winch controller's receiver connection red wire pulled out?

Thanks,
Al

I have the second one. I unplugged the red wire because it seemed weird to have the controller getting power from two places at once. But either way it dose not seem to do anything. Thanks for responding.

Second guessing the manufacturer is always an option, I suppose.
What voltage do you measure at your receiver?
