Default Can I use the XTM 550 1950KV?

I'm wondering if I can use either the 1950Kv or 3100Kv 550 can in my Wraith? I realize it's not sensorless, but I already have two of their ESCs and have been very happy with them in my SCT and MT bashers.

I know the speed between the two will be vastly different. Is 1950 too slow or 3100 too fast? I mainly do trailing with my wraith so...

I would think the 3100 geared down will work, I use a 3000 geared down on my yeti , great crawling speed

550 can wont fit in a wraith unless you raise the tranny and/or trim some of the upper link mount.

HobbyPeople has a 540 can @ 3100Kv. But i like the Torque from the 550s.

But I have a 550 can thats 3300Kv. If I get it to fit, would that be good to go with lower gearing?

What kind of pinion size am i looking at to maintain some speed yet keep it safe?

56/12 is a good starting point, its 4.6 to 1 (stock spawn spur/pinion). But a wraith uses 48p, but hopefully you've switched over to 32 pitch already. If not, do so now before you put that 550 in. The motor will fit but you have to cut a chunk out of the upper link mount.
