| Battery Charger/Discharger
I'm looking for recommendations for a Lipo Battery charger/discharger. Currently just using a charger but would like to upgrade to one that also discharges for storage.

I personally use the icharger 308 duo. It can charge up to 8s the slight downside is that you need a power supply. Mine is an old server psu that you can get on ebay. Just solder the leads and you're good to go. Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk |

The "Hitec" chargers specifically the X1 and X1 mini are very popular and can be had for really cheap. I hear they are pretty good. If you look in the classifieds section or a trading type rc site, people sell them used for real cheap all the time. I personally use a Venom and a overpriced Traxxas charger.

EDIT: Nevermind I see that it's AC/DC. No external power supply needed, correct? I'm looking at the Hitec X2 and the Venom Duo. Both can dual charge and both are $100. Last edited by JatoTheRipper; 05-22-2017 at 07:15 AM. | |

I have the older x4ac plus. It is great. Does ac/dc and will charge 4 batteries at once. Supposedly it only does 5 amps, but I have had 4 batteries charging at 5 and 6 amps. No heat issues or problems yet. Got it for free in a large buyout. Sold all the stuff and kept a summit, ultimate slash 4x4, and the hitec x4 at no cost to me. Best 1200 I have spent in this hobby. The Hitec X2 Pro is on sale for $160. That's tempting since it has more power and a built in soldering iron. I already have a soldering station or it would be a no brainer. Decisions, decisions.
