I actually did the 6s conversion. It does work, motor didn't heat up any more than usual, fan on the MMP didn't come on except for the usual startup procedure. Does crawl excellent still, exorbitant amount of wheel speed, ridiculous amount of torque. I was running 3s but I wasn't happy with the performance. Didn't have any 2s or 4s so I did 6s. I will be going to 4s as soon as I can get a pair of 2s or a single 4s. It was just an experiment and overall was quite entertaining.

Voltage does not harm a brushless motor when setup properly. Most motors are good to ~100k rpm regardless of what you may think.  | |
