I actually did the 6s conversion. It does work, motor didn't heat up any more than usual, fan on the MMP didn't come on except for the usual startup procedure. Does crawl excellent still, exorbitant amount of wheel speed, ridiculous amount of torque. I was running 3s but I wasn't happy with the performance. Didn't have any 2s or 4s so I did 6s. I will be going to 4s as soon as I can get a pair of 2s or a single 4s. It was just an experiment and overall was quite entertaining.

Lol

Voltage does not harm a brushless motor when setup properly. Most motors are good to ~100k rpm regardless of what you may think.

That's why I said it was a wrong answer to a statement of "Let us know when it explodes" (on 6s). Either way its definitley going overkill. I find going higher on voltage 4s for example, the smooth start up and low speed control diminishes greatly forcing a further pinion reduction/gear reduction. I prefer 2s for technical stuff and 3s for trail/mild technical areas.

Agreed.

I found 4s to not be any benefit other than the WTF look people gave
It mostly just broke more often
