Default FS GTB3 tuning for a TRX4

Howdy, a buddy has hacked a GTB3 for me but I need a little help fine tuning it. I've searched around and cant seem to find the answer to my specific question. Im using the radio in a TRX4 and am using the ST trim and TH trim for the diff lock servos, but I cant seem to get one press of the button to go to one position and a press of the other button to go to the opposite position. if you start at "diff lock" and press a button it gets you from -100 to 0, one more press gets you +100. so in a sense it takes two presses to achieve lock, and two more to achieve unlock, clear as mud? The same hold true for the 2 speed servo.
Also, each time the system is powered on the shift servo resets to "0" which is mechanically neutral, I would prefer it to stay in its last known position, is that possible?
I apologize in advance for my ignorance on FS radios, they are new to me!

You need to change your step rate from "100" to "200"

Alternatively, Change your setup from a 3 postion to a 2 position.

So lets say you want the Left Steering Trim Button to control the rear locker and the Right Steering Trim Button to control the front locker. Then just pressing the button will change states. It will always default to an endpoint on power up. You can select which end point by choosing RE0 or RE1 (See below). To set this up do this

Activate 2 position buttons
Scroll to REV, press and hold enter
Scroll to 1, press enter
Scroll to OFF, press and hold enter
Press back or end afew times

Assign Channel 5 to Rear Locker and Left Steering Trim Button
Scroll to REV, press and hold enter
Scroll to 1 with the Left arrow lit up, press enter
Scroll to CH5, press enter
Scroll to MO0, press enter
Scroll to RE0, press enter
press and hold enter
press back/end afew times

Assign Channel 6 to Front Locker and Right Steering Trim Button
Scroll to REV, press and hold enter
Scroll to 1 with the Right arrow lit up, press enter
Scroll to CH6, press enter
Scroll to MO0, press enter
Scroll to RE0, press enter
press and hold enter
press back/end afew times

Alternatively, if you want to use it as a 3 postion/two button control for each locker you can setup Multi-position. I don't recall the exact sequence todo this off the top of my head. But if you want to maintain two button control per locker and have it default to an end point, let me know and I can figure out the programming sequence.
