Default 2 or 3 cell???

Currently in the process of changing some things up on a 10.2 kit with a HW brushed speedo and a Tekin pro 40 motor...just curious as to how many cells you guys are running? I am running a 2 cell right now but may switch over to a 3 cell.

3s, because 2s just doesn't cut the mustard anymore

Yup 3s. I did a little testing, my 4000mah 2s lipos go the same distance as my 2200mah 3s... same truck, gearing, tires ... And the power and wheelspeed is nice for running on the trail.

I prefer 3S, though I don't run it on everything. On my Bomber, the low speed performance is no different between 2S and 3S, but I love the extra wheel speed that I get on 3S when I'm trying to get up something slippery or loose. It's also more fun driving to the trail head with the extra wheel speed.

So if all these guys jumped off a cliff you would follow them over the edge? Who the hell cares what others are running, run what works for you. I run 2s becasue I like the softer throttle response when slow crawling but I have a couple of 3s standbys.

I asked for opinions and to see what others were running feedback is always a good thing, especially when it comes to experience which...in part is why I’m here...to learn from others. Ive raced for many years and am new to this side of the hobby. I appreciate the feedback...that’s why I asked!
