Default Best multiple battery charger.. budget friendly

Picked up a boat that runs on 2 4s 5000mah 60c batteries.

Looking for a decent charger that can charge both of them at the same time.

Help?

iCharger 206B w/ PSU and balance board is going to be about $200 but you really can't beat it, especially if you end up getting a second set of batteries.

I'm happy with my Hitec X4 AC Pro. On DC, 2 of the ports will charge at 10A each. The other 2 ports are capable of like 3-5A each IIRC. On AC, the charge rates drop off quite a bit. I think 5A on the first 2 ports is all it will do and the other 2 ports are a little weaker.

I think iChargers do finish up the balance charge a little bit faster. They will definitely discharge faster.

Love my isdt t8. 30 amps at 8s. Got mine for about 79.

The t6 is another good one for a little less. Only goes up to 6s and 30 amps.

It's more cost effective IMO to get two single chargers and a PSU than it is to get a dual. You can get an ISDT 20A for $60-80 each, or almost half that for the 6-10A models. I haven't been able to do much dual 4S parallel charging on my 20A, but previous to that I was using dual 10A ac/dc skyrc derivatives. Parallel charging a matched set with a single channel charger is a lot less dicking around. Also if they don't balance properly charging parallel, they'll do the same discharging in the boat...
