Default Novak Hammer ESC - Drag Brake Issue

I picked up an Ascender that came with a sensored Novak Hammer esc. Have set the Drag Brake to its maximum setting but the thing still rolling down hills. Maxing out the setting definitely slowed it down some more, but I can’t seem to get more out of it.

I am wondering whether that is as good as it gets with this esc? Don’t see any info on this thing around RCC. Looking for insight/experience as to whether there is a way to get better braking out of it.

Thanks

A 17.5T Trak Power.

Thanks for replying John. I had a feeling that was all it was gonna give. It's clearly not designed for crawlers which explains why there is no info on it around here.

Is there a place in Canada that sells your stuff? I have always wanted to give it a go but with our third world currency and asinine shipping rates the costs have made mail ordering unreasonable.

We do have some Canadian dealers, although I don’t know by name off the top of my head these days. Seems we have a map somewhere on the site.

I can’t find the map on the site anymore. I know we have one somewhere built in google maps!

This is the downside to having great employees. I can let go of certain tasks and let it ride. Sometimes one employee undoes the work of another by accident though...
