| Kyosho blizzard motor
Hey guys I have a completely stock blizzard that I’ve only driven a hand full of times and it seems like one of the motors is starting to go out. I was wondering what motor would be a good replacement. I wouldn’t mind a little more speed but I don’t wanna dump a whole bunch of money in it since I really don’t drive it to much. I’d like to stick with brushed motors and not go all out on it (let’s be honest I’d love to go all out but my wife sure doesn’t). Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on it and is it normal for the stock motors to not last long? I’d also like to make the blade go up and down with a switch but not sure what type I’d need. Any help would be great thanks guys.

Are you still running the stock esc? Does your blade go up and down right now? If yes, how is it currently operated? |

I replaced both of my motors with Traxxas 380s, it gives a lot more power without risking damaging your gears. I also replaced the dual ESC with a pair of HW1060s, which allowed me to balance out the throttles.

Yea the blade does go up and down you have to use the right stick and push it over and if you want to go forward and have the blade down it can be a real pain. I am currently running the stock ESC. Is it hard to run dual HW1060s? Running 2 motors like the blizzard is new to me. Thank you all. I will look into the traxxas 380 motors.
