Default Motor wiring?

Does anyone have a suggestion on where I can get good wiring for motor leads? I can get 12 ga stranded wire anywhere but its usually pretty stiff.

Good wire for sure, but it's expensive to buy separately as is most RC branded wire.

More flexible than Tekin's? The price of this Dean's stuff is a quarter of Tekin's.

Cheap stuff isn't as good as good stuff. You can get crappy insulation and less flexibility with the cheap stuff. I can't speak about conduction and resistance.

I like the TQ wire 13G stuff when I actually have to buy wire. It is about the size of most 14G wire on the outside but about the same as 12G wire on the inside.

Most of the time, I end up using the spare wires that get horded away because they may be the right size one day.

I have never used the Tekin wire for comparison, but the Deans wire is plenty flexible. I have used it for years.

The guys on RCTech seem to love TQ Wire.

How much flexibility is really necessary? In most cases the ESC and motor are close to each other, if not right next to each other, so the wire doesn't need to snake through a labyrinth of obstacles. Throw a little heat shrink tubing over a coat hanger and it'll work.

If you want to pay a premium for the fancy stuff with the silicone jacket, that's good, but if not, any stranded 12 AWG wire will do. The electrons won't care.
