So the crawlmaster sport will follow the same trend, but the torque specs and power will be better then the Trailmaster sport?

Nice comparison. I was surprised to see how much improvement the hand winding gives, I expected it to be a bit less. Makes it easier to justify spending the extra money.

It would be really interesting to see your range of 5 poles compared now that the sealed can version is released.

The torque specs and power will typically be a little less when using a 5 slot (crawlmaster) as compared to a 3 slot (torquemaster or trailmaster). To gain the smoother startup, a motor normally has to give up a little torque density.

On the flip side, the smoother startup allows us to use a faster motor without sacrificing startup speed. So a Crawlmaster can be a little faster, with a bit more geardown, and still net the same torque at the wheel while also having better startup. It is rare that a person "needs" the full torque of a 3 slot in a crawler.

Super-stoked to see these hit the market - more choices is always good!

Any hints on future products - SHV500 v3 or ESC revisions?

I realize these probably have been keeping you busy...

Hey John, I am up in Canada and take advantage of Amain’s stellar international shipping rates. Will Amain be adding these to their Holmes line? I actually just ordered a couple of your 550 Trailmasters from them this morning
