I've been running the MicroX and 2700kv stubby in a couple cars (8.3lb Wraith and now ~6lb Capra) for the last year and haven't had any issues. The Wraith is geared pretty low at 65:1 so the small motor/esc didn't have to work too hard. I can still stall it when the 2.2"s get in a bind, but I'd say it's totally adequate for a sub 8lb crawler on 1.9"s or 6lb-ish on 2.2"s.

Sw4 is a great esc with that motor as well. But youll need a bec to power a good servo. Still a cheaper option than the mamba X. Dont overlook the revolver. Its a amazing motor..

The SW4 is a non sensored ESC. You will want the Micro X or Mamba X with this motor.

The 2700 is about micros max from what ive found. You will need stick without your lowest gearing option most likely. I ended up going to the 2200 as the esc was just getting a tad warm with the 2700. Still plenty of punch and very cool temps.
