Default servo non-responsive

My kids non-crawler (ECX) had the antenna that goes to the servo get severed off inside the ESC (when the ESC detached and bounced around inside). I tried touching the tiny antenna wire back to the contact point inside the ESC but no response. Is the ESC shot? or am I missing something.

I'm confused. Antenna, servo? The only "antenna" in your system is connected to your receiver, not the servo or ESC.

Are you just referring to the receiver wires breaking off at the ESC?
