| Motor leads question
No local hobby stores on the island and waiting for my HH order to be delivered. Any sort of industrial or automotive wiring able to be used for motor leads?

As long as they are a similar gauge (thickness) to what the RC power system normally runs, or has from factory AND!: Do not use wire that is solid-strand! Like 110/20v AC or house wiring!!! Make sure any RC wiring you use is twisted/braided from mannnny much smaller strands. R.C. means both;Radio control, and Rock Crawler, oh..and Race Car! annd, Rice Cake, as well as ..Real cash, Remote Contr, etc | |

Go to Amain and order up some wire, That’s what I do when I need it. No local hobby shops on the Big Island either lol. Or, see if Hobbietat or Ohana RC will ship some over. They are on Oahu. Your best bet will probably be Hobbietat, they can even ship Lipos over here. _________________ SCX10 ii TRX4 Last edited by ScaleLifeNewbie; 02-17-2021 at 10:04 PM. |

Go to a hardware store (Home Depot, Ace) and buy 12 gauge wire. They sell it by the foot. Buy a few feet. It's cheap. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The only issue with anything other than small stranded R/C specific wire is that t will get work-hardened from flexing. Try to keep the wire from repetitive bending and it should get you through for a while. Just don't leave it that way for hours of running!
