Default RX4 and HH revolver tuning ?

Curious if anyone has some input or tuning suggestions on this combo.
Tekin rx4, Holmes Revolver V2 2200

I cant seem to get a smooth startup or any low speed control.

Thanks.

I was just thinking about this combo and seen this. Was thinking with the adjustable drive frequency you could tone down the revolver whine, since Holmes quite esc is never in stock. Have you had any luck getting it smoothed out?

im using a cheap off brand esc from the trash heep on the other side of the ocean it works ok with my holmes outrunner the noise isent neerly as bad as castle escs but the castle has much better start up and the sidewinder 4 is saposed to be the best of all of them but ive never had a sw4 the new holmes should be the best of both worlds quite and good start up
i would save that rx4 for something better suited to it and not burn it up trying to crawl with it

there is a diy esc designed around the outrunner that is saposed to work great too on the cheap if your geeky enuff to pull that one off

if your geared low enuff any esc should work

I ordered a mamba micro x for the outrunner.

John Homles recommends the RX4 with his Brushless, but not sure on the revolver.

The RX4 is a dual mode. maybe make sure it is in Sensorless mode (or it may be fully dual mode)...
