Here is my thoughts... If you can make a Dig set up for a 2 channel radio like a TQ2 thats great... The above set up. I'd have to run it myself to give my in put. But right now.... Doesn't seem worth $50 bucks. How big is this thing? Do you have side by shot of it with a standard size servo?

Hey PunkRC, good answers. I would be happy to test one that has been reprogrammed to the normal 4WS and lockout modes using a 2 position switch. I would write an evaluation and post it here. PM if interested. Take care.

Yea, Punk what you should do is hand out 3-4 of these (to people who are actuall know what they are getting and are experienced with crawling) hand they out for a discounted price and in return they have to use the product for a week, month w/e then come back here and each do a write up. Just somthing to consider.

I have a couple I am sending out for a review. If there are a few good poster, I would be more than willing to loan, sell for cheap, or whatever.
I'd do it definitely.
Post here or send me a PM. I'd be most interested in anyone who can write a credible review here. I'd consider a joint effort. Also anyone who has reviews else where.
QUESTION: Shall I add a small switch to the PRCSC that toggles between 2 position and 3 position switch behavior? It would be easy(ish)

This would make it very desirable for people running TQ3's or other radios that don't do three positions and would allow them to run 4ws. I think that would be a smart idea.

PRODUCT UPDATE: (Ticker Tape Sound in Background)
My first PCB production order, placed last night, features also a small switch I can add on. I will work on some re-programming today. As described, the switch will allow for desired behavior using a two position or three position toggle radios.
The Modes will be either of these two based on switch position:
(up) Normal and (ctr) Lockout and (down)Crabwalk
(up) Normal and (ctr) Crabwalk and (down)Lockout
Therefore if using a three position, you can choose the order (up and down are reversible by your tx)
Also if using a two position, you can choose either normal-crab or normal-lockout.
Result: Everyone is happy!!!
I like the fact that crawlers who compete in no 4ws comps can lock it out, but use it (with a point penalty) if they need on the fly.
AWESOME FEEDBACK GUYS!!!
p.s. Production run will be shipping about Aug 1st

from someone that's running a 2ch now, i would definitely like to be able to run 4ws and be able to turn it on & off with a 2ch, especially if it has all the capabilities of the 3ch setup (lockout, fws, crab)

I just got the new PCB's in last week, and the new version (the one I have been selling) has a switch that will allow you to use either normal-crab or normal-lockout steering if you are only using a two position switch. If running a 3position switch it will select between normal-lo-crab or normal-crab-lockout. I have some listed on ebay at the moment. I am also hoping on going to Nationals in Little Moab this month.
Please le tme know if anyone has any questions.....

I am looking for a few serious crawlers who would be interested in reviewing this product. Members who can create a review with pics and video and mostly post reviews on various web pages (not just here) would be most sought after.
If you are interested, drop me a PM with how and where you might do the review. I will ship you a computer for free to review.
We have a couple people reviewing the product currently. We will post any updates.
I hope to see everyone at Nationals.

I have a question for you..

I have a 3 channel. If I wanted to use the 3rd channel as a winch but also a dig would this computer be able to do that?
Technically it would work the same as a switch between 4ws and 2ws correct?
Let me know or if I'm way off in thinking about it's function.

Along the same lines as double J, i'm using a 3Pk with the third channel and some mixing which allows me to do 2ws, 4ws and 4ws-crab. I'd be interested in an electronic doohicky which would allow me to switch between these steering options and a R2D dig servo.

any thoughts?
