I don't know what that motor weighs, john can tell you but I think you will need a bigger esc and motor to pull a 13 lbs truck with one motor, it would probably work in a clod though. Get the quark, not the mamba.

I think thats the 2 ounce GWS motor.

So the answer is, no, no chance in hell.

Alright, thanks for the pointers. I Thought i could save a few bucks but i guess im back to plan A. What motor would you recommend for my rig? Brushless motor that is. will a crawlmaster do the trick?

What kinda drive train/tranny you running?

IMHO,the crawl master is a great motor for a 2.2 and lightweight supers. My super is right at 12 pounds. It would probably pull it O.K. but would have to work at it. IMHO,a 3025-8 is a much better option for a heavier super class rig. The 3025-8 is a perfect motor for a super.....but your drive train better be stout. The 3025 will find any weak point and shred it to pieces.

I've got a crawl master in my 2.2 and it is PERFECT.

The set up I have.....in my 2.2 it's a Mamba 25/Crawl master. In my super,it's a Mamba Max/Hyperion 3025-8. Couldn't be happier with either set up. IMHO,the Mambas are THEE best ESC option out for crawlers. I don't think you can beat the performance/programming options they are able to do

Since we're on this subject, any suggestions on what motor/esc combo would work well in a 18-20 lb. super 19" WB tuber rig with Kongs? (Twin Force tranny, Revo's & Twin Force axles with 4.3 helicals & spools.)

Yeah, It's definitely a pig...a BIG pig. Anything with kongs on it ends up being a pig, plus this one runs heavy RC4WD Jumbo aluminum beadlocks which make it even heavier yet. BTW, this is NOT a comp rig.

Mamba Max/3025-8

I ran that in a 21 pound Twin crawler with 8 1/2" tall Frankenstein LST tires and it pulled it around.....no sweat. I'll see if I can find the video of it.....

Again,No question,Mamba Max/3025-8

The smaller motors might pull it O.K. but it might be pushing them a bit. There is no such thing as having to much power The 3025-8 will sling that rig around like a rag doll if set up correctly.

Like JRH's says.....gear down, volt up and you will see

A mamba max and a bm16/17 would be realy good for that much weight.

Well,he is probably out of them. This little jewel will be REAL close to the Hyperion 3025-8.....Scorpion 3020-14 If I needed a big outrunner,it'd be the one I'd buy. Looks like a jim dandy.
