Default G Speed chassis

Anyone use the carbon GSpeed chassis rails on their Enduro? I have the bug to order up the set with the servo mount. Is the difference worth it? Lower cg? Better planted? I'm currently using the stock rails with STRC chassis braces, and Samix aluminum shock towers w/cross braces.

I have a set of the carbon steel chassis rails sitting on my bench right now. The plan is to put them in my shelf dusty Trailwalker. Until then, couldn’t say whether the performance gains are significant. Hopefully I will know more in the coming weeks

I have that setup with the 2.low transmission. It's a whole other animal after that swap.

Definitely worth the swap. I built (and recently sold) a gspeed enduro. Built to see how easy it would be and how it did with only a couple mods. Was very pleased.

Check out this thread for some details

Gspeed v3 with a 2.low is a pretty lethal combo. I’ve been ecstatic with mine since swapping from the FMM and tcase.

Thanks for the replies gents! I think I may have to get these on order in the very near future

Great write up Topher, it does look like it came out sweet. That short side hilling vid is incredible. So why did you sell it?

That one was built more out of curiousity than a long term project. I wanted to build it so I could help other gspeeders with their element gspeed projects with first hand experience. Also a little bit of self research as I’ve kicked around the idea of building some “budget” rtr gspeed v3s to sell based on the enduro as a donor.

Gotcha, thanks for helping pave the way

Now to decide whether to upgrade my existing Enduro, which is set up pretty sweet as is, or to get another Enduro builders kit....hmmmmmm.

I've got mine tryck on order and was contemplate getting the gspeed before I even ran it. Think I'll wait a short while driving her stock first. Hope it compares to my trx and hpi venture

I'm kicking around the same idea for another Gatekeeper build.

That would make a sweet GK!

I still haven't decided on direction I want to go yet, full custom comp truck, or upgrade me Enduro or Gatekeeper with the GSpeed ????

Tough choices for sure. Wish Element would drop a portal some time soon.
