Default Vanquish Origin on Enduro chassis build

First time for me building a kit without a body designed to fit. The chassis is a Builder's Kit 2.0, all stock with the ~12% OD. Managed to fit the Enduro inner fenders (trimmed) and the interior (trimmed). Used the molded Vanquish sliders in conjunction with the kits sliders, although to be honest they are sitting a bit too low. Trimmed the Vanquish front bumper to improve the approach angle. Had to design and 3D print some parts to lower the rear bumper mount to level the body, and modify the rear inner fenders so it all fits together. Painted with Pro-Line paints which are absolutely terrible, but they had the tones I wanted. Lesson learned. Now I have a few details left, door handles, body lines, magnetic mounts and lighting.

Thank you both! I've been adding details today... The window seals are tedious work and you can barely see them haha

Yeah, that paint job is very cool. Your tires look perfect on that truck too.

Speaking of window seals, that's why I painted my Bronco windshield black. The seals look so good, but I didn't want to spend the time it takes to make that detail shine.

I look forward to seeing yours done.

That's a cool paint job using the topographic map! Color looks great too!

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the sliders? I'm curious to see how you combined the two.

I cut the outside with a Dremel, then cut the notches that would allow me to match the upper surface of the Origin slider with the bottom of the Element one. Then drilled a few countersunk holes to bolt them together and mounted the slider as you would if it were unmodified. As a bonus, the outside of the slider will now be used for a custom roof rack

That's some outside-of-the-box thinking there, very creative!

Ah, ok, now I see. Great idea! It looks great and I would have never known they were modified if you wouldn't have said they were. Thanks for the pic and explanation!

Yeah, and cool idea for a roof rack too! That is why I save all of my scrap metal and plastic bits. I'm always looking for ways to reuse the scrap pieces.

Installed the Incision light kit for the Origin body. It's ridiculously bright!
