Default TLTRyan's Berg 2.2

After owning this truck for close to 3 weeks and seeing all of the OCM/Berg threads I guess I need to post mine.

Specs:
Integy 55t
Mamba Maxx
3cell 1500mah Li-Po
Hobbico CS-170 for steering
HS-81 + micro switch for Dig
CAC Tucker wheels
Nomadio react

Nothing special reallly. I used the Links included for the rear bumper for rear uppers. This clocked the rear motor up for clearance. I also limited the shocks inside and out to limit articulation. I have 3 3/8 under the skid.

This was with my F-350 body slammed.

I cut the F-350 to short so I needed a new comp legal body. I decided to give the C-10 a shot. It works pretty well.

So far the truck works great. I placed 3rd at the SERCRC comp on Saturday behind Kamikazes ZERO driven by joebruiser in 2nd and RXcrawler in 1st.

Only problems so far have been the Stub axles. I bent all 4 in its first outing so I replaced them with AX-10 stubs and they seem to hold up fine.

Truck looks good Ryan, and you know I love the wheels.

Have you had any problems with the axle shafts wanting to slide out of the diff after swaping the stubs?

Used 2 of the OCM rubber orings (or Fuel Tubing ) in the axial stubs to keep the inters pushed in .

Thanks Joey.

I did just what Badd said, I reused the 0-rings out of the stock stubs.

It drives like a Caddy. Very smooth and predictable. Wish I knew how you get it to bunny hop though.

dude, you had to have lost a ton of turning radius with the way you clocked your front axle

tear that thing apart and clock it correctly you can prob get at least 1/3rd more turning radius.

other than that nice looking rig!!

Only his rear axle is clocked.

Looks good! That stock chassis is tiny.

if you remove your stub axles and look inside the cup on the stub . You will see 2 O rings they are there to keep the inter axles from sliding out of the center locker . with out them the inter axle will slide out of the locker and also bind up in the stub .

ok, that kinda clears it up. i haven't torn apart the axles yet, i am guessing that there are no retainers on the inner axles shafts then? thanks!

yeah, i saw that on your post, but i couldn't really tell from the pics if there were any retainers.

the tuckers are nice, i am running the sinners and a guy in my club has the tuckers. width wise our 2 trucks are almost identical believe it or not. his with the tuckers are only about 1/16 to an 1/8 at the most wider on each side. overall 1/8 to a 1/4.

tltryan, i like the c-10 body i looks great!

Thanks. The CAC wheels are the best I have ever owned. I would have never thought I would spend over $100 for s set of wheels, but they are well worth the money.

No leaks. I did limit them about 1/4in on the inside and 3/4in on the outside.

my shocks leaked horribly , the factory forgot to put o-rings in mine . i put 2 of the silicone o-rings from the kit in each shock and no more leaks . i think some shocks have them and other kits dont so check your shocks before filling .

Mine also. Berg Newage Shock Fix that is what I used to fix them. Could have also used the stock orings in the kit but I had the rebuild kit in my box already and it fit just right.

My 8 month old Losi's where showing some wear so I decided to try out some Panthers.

The compound is really soft so I decided against the memory foams they come with. I went with Axial foams in the front and Pro-Line foams in the rear and I narrowed the foams to the width of the wheels.

I really like the extra height and they seem to perform as good if not a little better than the Losi's.
