| PinchFlat's Reign Chaos Widemouth Berg
PinchFlat's Reign Chaos Widemouth Berg Well the moment I first drove a Berg (Just Zach's Berg - Check it) I knew I needed to build one up with the NEW Reign Products Chaos Widemouth Chassis. So I started ordering away. Specs: Reign Chaos Widemouth Competition Chassis EnRoute Berg Axles 35t Lates motors Traxxas Aluminum XL Shocks 4692 with 1/18 scale springs (LINK) Lower links are Traxxas Revo 5319 Pushrods (LINK) with Jato 5525 rod ends on one side of each link (LINK) Upper links are HPI Turnbuckle M4x70mm 93535 (LINK) with Revo & Jato rod ends (LINK/LINK) Hitec HSR 5990TG servo with Reign Servo Crown Armor Tekin FX-R ESC CastleCreations BEC MaxAmps 11.1v 1550HV 3c lipo Panther Cougar Tires & memory foams DNA (VF) Berg offset Sniper wheels Dud switch dig This set up gave me a perfect set up. 12.45" WB, 10.25" overall width, & a hair under 3" of ground clearance. This is by far the best rig I have owned. The Berg axles seem to be a PREFECT match for the Reign Chaos Widemouth chassis. I am VERY pleased. On to the pics! Thats a clean build Pinchy it's definably got it all going on. The Widemouth chassis is well suited to the Berg axles. The springs are interesting is it a half droop set up?

As already mentioned, very clean build. The Reign logo over the servo is a very nice touch as well.

That thing crawls amazingly well too. It wasn't so easy to kick you ass at the last comp when you were running it |

Ditch the side posts. They will hang up on everything. Looks like a winner. |

Or, cut off the post at the correct width, drill and tap the ends and use screws to hold the body on. Very secure and does not get hung up on anything.

I just checked this... If you have any of those stock TLT side mount body posts laying around they fit perfect in those upper holes on the chassis. wrightcs77 - Good idea. I did that once with aluminum posts on one of my Supers. FR - The side posts are to handycap myself so I don't put everyone to shame on the course. (yeah I know, I'm opening myself up for some "you already are handicapped" bashing) |

Second place baby!!!! I'm very please with my Berg Chaos Widemouth... The more I drive it the more I love it. I think I'll marry it. After all Utah & polygamy go hand & hand don't they? I wonder if it is illegal if the second wife is a RC crawler. Check the scores: (top 3 Bergs) http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...50#post1310950 |

HAHAA! Pinchtastic yo! Marry it! You gonna do it before you get married? I mean, you might not like it, then you're just stuck with it. |
