I have taken it on for now. Gonna be a spare/back-up/loaner for Jeff and I and others. I'll probably wind up getting a 4PL for it to use as a rig for the new guys that show up to comps and GTGs who wanna try a crawler.

In the end it's just a rainy day killer project, like today

As it sits, I had thrown some spare elects in it to play around with. along with some wheels/tires I had mounted up.

Some of the new parts. Rest should be here probably Monday. 66 tubes is gonna be ready soon.

My first attempt at cleaning up berg cases...y'all don't laugh. Not to shabby though using a belt sander and faom sanding blocks

It's not that bad Donnie. I just clamped the belt sander in a vice, locked down the trigger and let fly. I used a dremel in the tight spots, just gotta go slow with it though as it tends to wanna melt the cheap Al a little. A fine foam sander block will shine it up some.

I may slick them up some more and send them to my new anodizing guy to black them out...

Those cases look good Steve!!! I didn't take the front of my cases all the way down. You can still see where the bolt was. But after seeing yours, I may take mine back apart!!

Shiny!!! I got a little off on a hole or two. But these were all extra gears

Guess I need to start my own thread and stop jacking this one.
