| TLTRyans 09 Rockshow chassis build.
I have been running the KK 3.5 since July and have been very happy, I actually ordered a KK 4.0 in Mid December to replace the 3.5. But after seeing the Rockshow chassis at the Crawling for Kids comp in ATL, I new what my next comp rig would have to be. http://photos.alabamarockcrawlers.com/SVEN...%20(Medium).JPG So I spoke with the guys over at T1Erc and had a chassis on its way. A pic of the chassis. Included are 2 side plates, skid, 6 chassis braces, 2 side bumpers and M3 hardware. This is my KK 3.5 before getting tore down. Im using Dual Tekin FXR's and 55t motors CS-170 steering Servo and a Nomadio React 4ch TX I decided to tear down the axles and clock the front. Thanks to Binaryterror for sending me his Berg axle clocking template, it made the job very easy. Before: After: Since I had the motors out I decided to freshen them up a bit. More to follow. |

Im using the stock AX-10 lowers for my upper links and KK Delrin High Clearance Links for the lowers. I built the Losi shocks using 30wt oil and limited them internally with fuel tubing. With everything mounted up it sits at 12 7/16wb. Im going to reuse the KK electronics plate. I have Dual FXR's and a CCBEC on top. I installed the Nomadio receiver on the bottom. More to come. Thanks for looking. |

Definitely a interesting build. I have been looking at this chassis myself for an extra set of Bully's I have laying around. I like the way Rockshow had the body panels mounted on it at the "Crawling for Kids" comp. Looking good so far; nice clean build. Keep us updated! |

That chassis performs awesome. There were three guys running them at the Carolina Rock Runners Comp this weekend and they took home spots 1, 2 & 4. Makes me want one now.

Thanks for the replies. A small update I started on the body panels, still not finished with them. The LHS did not have any clear sheets of lexan so I hacked up a C10 body. It should be running tomorrow |
