| I like them. They work great on this high grip rock. I'll have to go to my slick rock spot soon. With the stock foams they impressed me, and the size is nice for the gaps and holes. They'll still wrinkle up like the Panthers, but the stock foam pops it right back. They side hill pretty good and if they do fold, they seem to fold out instead of under the wheel. The little ribs inside the tire push it out I guess. these tires really add to my AKRCC DEIMOS CHASSIS. My rig has never been as good as it is right now. I am a happy camper. I got some video that 'll try to get up later. Last edited by ROCKEDUP RICKY; 11-23-2008 at 02:11 PM. |

Here's some video of the Deimos with some Hotbody Tires. I sure like them, in the video I'm using the stock foams. I like the foam not being tall enough. It allows for more contact area. The ribs on the insine really help to keep the tire from folding under. I tried to wade them up ,but the stock foam puts it back into shape pretty quick. |

Check out my body nuts. I guess thats what you'd call them. See those little black squares, thats where my body pins use to be. I got tired of them popping off and hanging up on the rocks. So I threaded the bodypost and made these thin rounded off body nuts out of derlin . They haven't fell off yet and they don't get hung up on the rocks. |

Nice Idea Ricky. Keep us updated with the results. You know there is another option right? Top posts almost never get caught on rocks. |
