| Why two esc?
What is the adv to running to speed controls over one speed control and a dig switch or punk switch? I am at the point of ordering a setup for my berg and havent seen or been able to find details about the adv of two esc. Seems the punk switch and one esc would be simple but if their is a adv with two esc then I will give it a try. I ordered a Futuba 4pk if this makes a diff. Thanks |

the punk switch and one esc is very simple and very effective but the ability to proportion the rear esc to eliminate or induce clod stall is worth the added complexity to me. and since you already are getting a 4pk it is kind of a no brainer.

My truck has 1 ESC and a punkRC switch. I'm using a DX3R radio. I can run 4wd, I can lock the rear axle, and I can lock the front axle. That all, and it works great. With 2 ESC's and a 4PK you can ran 4wd, locked rear, locked front, freewheel, send 100% power to one axle and 25% to another, adjust that to 50% on the fly, etc. I've never driven a 2 ESC truck myself, but they look pretty sweet. If I could afford a 4PK I'd build one myself. Harley's 4PK thread explains it pretty well if I remember right. 4PK Setups, Tips, Tricks and Help Last edited by BigB_117; 06-17-2009 at 11:12 AM. | |

I went with 2 esc and it is awsome. You will have no regrets especially with your 4pk. I am using a 3pk and satisfied |

2 ESC's is where its at in my opinion. I've put about 40+ hrs on my setup and i love being able to induce or reduce clodstall. The possibility's are endless. |
