Default My KK 4.0

I got my berg built after tracking down all the bolts I needed. Everything seemed great but it's extemely bouncy and wants to flip over backwards on everything. Heres the specs

KK 4.0 with High clearance rear Medium front links
Losi 4" shocks with white springs front and rear
Vanquish pro comps with HB Rovers (proline dual stage oversized foams)
Dual FXR's with 45T Tekin HW
front clocked 20*
Rear clocked with the Traxxas 112mm uppers
CKRC BTA steering until the CDW is ready to go
JR 8711 servo
Futaba 4pk

Just need some help figuring out the bounce and flipping over backwards

Did you vent your wheels or tires?

I had the 2 stage foams and changed them to drilled panthers coz i got too much bounce. The 2 stage were ok in my SWX as it was heavier.
You could try a bigger pinion in the front to stop it flipping.

Try 20 wt oil and stock Rover foams. First do the 20 wt oil. Then try the stock foams (I like the stock better than the PL 2 stage, but that is me).

I have the same rig I run Traxxas big bore with 30 weight and losi white spring

look at Joe B. Rig it is dialed. MOunt your links like his (that the easy route look at the best)

Also I run a 4pk as well when you are going up hill just roll the wheel by your thumb to about 50% power in the back you will then just be pull the back up with just a little help from the rear. It works alot better than free wheel real.

Are you sure your rear is not over driving your front? How much weight are you running total front and rear?

Pics would help.

Well right now I have the front wheels full of the slugs and wrapped with 4 ounces of weights each. No weight in the rear right now. I have the steering tore apart trying something different but i'll post some pics anyways.

Ah, the rear upper links are to low, move them as high as you can. Move the front ones down lower.

Thanks a lot. Changed it. The other problem is I can't find lock outs and so far the stock berg lockouts have claimed one rover and on panther. I don't want to run the truck anymore. Tires are going to get expensive!

I would try laying the shocks down also. Seems to help keep my truck planted better.
