Well if tire cutting doesn't work out for you can always open a pizza shop now....
It slices, it dices, It Julians' tires!
Glad you got it worked out.

You're nuts Joel. In a good way of course. However, I won't believe that your blade is all that straight until you "blue" it on your surface plate.

This jig is elegant, to say the least. I love clean and to the point design work and execution there of. I must be part Amish.

Now you're talking machinist stuff that is over my head. I'll have to look that one up.

I'm part Amish. I like women wearing dresses.

Finished the set of 4 reduced Voodoos (silvers). First 4-pack impression is that they are pretty good (after removing pins, not pictured). They are virgin rubber with virgin pins and virgin foams so I can't be too critical. Over the summer I'll beat on them and shake them out. I'm liking medium CI outers to keep them full and let the pins work. But this setup is bouncy though not hoppy. The foams definitely need 100 packs on them before they are good. I'm going to see if I can design a foam aging jig to work the foams out as I do something else.

I couldn't let my comp rig have all of the new-shoe fun. Had to hook my car up for the road trip to AZ. I literally went straight to the tire store as soon as I mounted the voodoos. It was a cool day. Ah that fresh tire smell in the garage.

I'm loving the competition package wheels on the BMW. That classic multispoke is probably one of my favorite wheel designs

I really like them too. The old M3 CSL style. Set of 4 18" (8.5 235F/9.5 265R) shaved 30 lbs off of the stock 17" RFT setup. Big difference...but only warrantied for 15K.

That was too funny. The fact that it was some tiny bubble shaped hatchback made me laugh even more...

You know your tires. I likely won't see too much rain in SD but the swervy stuff is a plenty aqui.

Thanks. Got a part # for those? If you can't tell I'm a total pin rookie.

B-Lux weights. I think the iron block and truck tranny helps bias some.

Default Skull Cap

Gonna try something somewhere between the Holy Moly thong-bikini body and the hacked off body from WCS. A hood of some kind just make's it look more like a truck. Either way, new is shiny so it's all good.

Yes, Rovers.
